Holy tired Batman! I thought pulling an all nighter was a bit much, but this is a whole new experience. I’m now twelve hours into The Uberman and feel like I have been hit with a Mach truck. My eyes are heavy, body sluggish, brain dead. They say that it is the first 2-3 weeks that are the worst. I hope they are right!
I will say this though, after the three naps I have taken today I have felt really energized for a good hour or so before feeling exhausted. I’m about to enter my first nap during the day time (11:30 AM), which should be interesting.
My two biggest concerns with doing this are: getting a good nap at work and finding a way to make the evening naps work. I’m not exactly sure how The Uberman will happen once I decide to have a social life.
“Hey! Wanna hang out?”
“Heck yes I do! What time?”
“We’re all getting together at 7:30 PM.”
“Oh. I can’t until 7:50.”
“I have to take a nap.”
Ha, yeah I’m not quite sure how to explain that to someone and have them get it. I guess it is all a part of the learning experience right? Where there is a will, there is a way!
