Make It Worth It

“Because that’s what people do… they leap and hope to God they can fly!
Because otherwise, we just drop like a rock… wondering the whole way down…
‘why in the hell did I jump?’
But here I am […] falling.
And there’s only one person that makes me feel like I can fly…
That’s you.”

Ideally, you don’t fall in love. In a picture perfect situation you grow in love; you grow together and build a love that lasts. Sometimes, you get a combination of both. There are those people that you just can’t help but fall for while building your relationship. You don’t want to help but fall for them. The only thing that crosses your mind is “JUMP” and in the moment you don’t even care if they catch you, because you’re so love struck.

The reason I say it is ideal that you don’t fall in love is because falling leaves you open to “drop like a rock”. You have the potential to hit rock bottom. You end up bruised and broken. But this life is suppose to be joyous! There comes a moment when, after weighing the outcome, you throw caution to the wind and go for it! Is there a risk in falling for someone? Is there ever! What is the bigger risk though? To fall for someone and to love; potentially being hurt? Or stay on terra firma and risk never feeling the joys of loving fully and freely?

My advice: make your choice and make it worth it!

About Jaxon

I am a spiritual being here to have mortal experiences. I believe in love. Not the love that can be fit in three words: I love you, but in the love that radiates from a couple who cherish one another more than life itself. I believe in love as it has been intended to be: eternal. I believe in progress. Learning from life, love, books, people and inspiration should be a daily experience. There is something incredible about a person who strives to be their best self. I believe in pursuing dreams. Mortality only happens once and is too short to simply sit back and allow it to pass you by. Goals, dreams and those who join in the pursuit of those dreams are what live worth while. I believe in being happy! True happiness is not found. It is a choice. The moment life is seen as being beautiful and is deeply appreciated, the easier it is to choose to be happy. I believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is my Savior, my King and my Friend. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and living His truth is key to my happiness and existence.
