For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Frequently I have thought of God’s love and how He has an infinite, perfect love for each of us. I believe that God loves me, but sometimes I have felt that I am just a dot in this world. How could God love everyone equally, but yet individually? Perhaps I will understand better when I am a dad, but for now I don’t understand completely.
During Sacrament today while contemplating the Atonement and God’s love I was taught the following:
The awe of God’s love, in all it’s majesty, is not found in pondering it’s universal scope. Rather, the glory of God’s love is found in pondering it’s universal abundance for the individual.
When you have those moments where you feel abandoned, companionless or empty, remember that God is love and He loves you.
